DO NOT tan the
area waxed for at least 24 hours. |
2.
|
DO NOT take a hot shower for at
least 7 to 8 hours. The hot water will
enter the hair follicle and cause discomfort. It may also cause
red
bumps and breakouts. |
3.
|
DO NOT shave in-between waxing
sessions. The goal is to train your
hair to be removed from the root. This will result in very easy
waxing
appointments and soft bump free skin. |
4.
|
DO NOT apply lotion to your bikini
area. It will clog your hair follicles and cause
discomfort and ingrown hairs. |
5.
|
DO exfoliate your entire bikini area every
time you shower. This will
minimize any clogged hair follicles. Clogged hair follicles are
the
main reason you will get ingrown hairs. This is the case if your
shave
or wax. Use a good quality product. Try to get something
without
heavy perfumes. |

After Wax Questions & Answers
|
Q.
|
Will
I be completely smooth after my wax? |
A.
|
The answer is yes! However,
there are times (very rarely) you may feel tiny hairs even though you
may not see any. This is due to the different hair growth cycles.
(See illustration below). About 95% of the time all the hair is
removed and you are completely clean for weeks. If your hair
growth cycle is at #6 or #7
you may feel a few tiny hairs. These hairs where just below the
skin surface and unreachable with the wax. It happened mostly
during your first waxing and diminishes the more you get waxed.
If you experience this it should not concern you. It will be very
minor and you will still benefit from the clean fresh feeling of a
Brazilian wax.
